Interior doors are factory sealer coated as standard, ready for priming and painting. Interior doors can also be supplied unsealed with a specified overlay (wood veneer, laminate, vinyl, or metal). Inlay panels can also be affixed on request, to suit heritage buildings. Exterior doors are faced with marine grade plywood and factory sealer coated. Stainless steel kick plates can be added if required.
60 Minute Fire-Rated Doors
We manufacture robust, durable exterior and interior 60-minute pre-hung fire-rated doors. Interior doors use a solid core of reconstituted wood fiber faced with an integral MDF layer and are 55mm thick. Exterior doors are made by enclosing a laminated veneer lumber (LVL) core in marine ply facings and are 54mm thick.
Interior doors are factory sealer coated as standard, ready for priming and painting. Interior doors can also be supplied unsealed with a specified overlay (wood veneer, laminate, vinyl or metal). Inlay panels or planted detail can also be affixed on request, to suit heritage buildings. Exterior doors are faced with marine grade plywood and factory sealer coated on all six sides. Stainless steel kick plates can be added if required.
90+ Minute Fire-Rated Doors
We manufacture robust, durable exterior and interior pre-hung door sets fire-rated at 90 to 240 minutes. Interior doors are manufactured with a mineral core with various facing materials and are supplied in 45mm, 49mm and 55mm thick. Exterior doors are manufactured with the same mineral core and finished with a 1mm steel facings and matching cappings, also supplied in differing thicknesses dependent on facing material and fire rating.

Non-fire & Smoke doors
We manufacture robust, durable exterior and interior non-fire doors. Interior doors are manufactured with a solid composite timber core and an integral MDF face layer. Timber exterior doors are manufactured with a solid laminated veneer lumber (LVL) core and marine grade plywood facing. Doors are available as pre-hung units or as individual leaves. All our pre-hung solid core door-sets can be upgraded to Smoke (-/-/-SM) rated door-sets.
Frames
Frames are made from high-quality Steel. Steel frames are made of ASTM Grade GI Sheet of thicknesses either 1.5mm/1.8mm/2.0mm. Vulcan profiled Steel Frames are strong enough for the increased level of protection and carries high quality finish with its perfect welding techniques, which leaves with perfect corners, anchor bolt reinforcements. All Frames are manufactured with specified ironmongery reinforcements.
Shutters
Shutters are made of ASTM grade GI Steel with standard/tested thickness of 1.2mm. Shutters are made with Honeycomb/Rockwool with Steel Stiffeners providing the thermal insulation. Shutters can be provided in different variants like flush, vision lite, single leaf or double le

Door glazing could be provided as per the customer requirement or tested specifications with Fire Rated Glass for Fire Rated Doors or Georgian wired Glass for non-fire rated doors. Vulcan Fire Rated Doors are certified with 186 Sq. In Glass for 3 hours.
